Since the foundation of Apek in 1999, the company has cultivated an innovative spirit by developing new products & solutions, and predicting the future of this very competitive market. A pioneer in Internet self-attending machines, Apek introduced an extraordinary solution to provide Public Internet Access within all McDonald’s restaurants in Brazil. More than 1,950 terminals were installed in over 650 stores, allowing free Internet access to approximately 100 million people. Undoubtedly, the largest Digital Inclusion Project implemented in Brazil, and the third largest worldwide.

 

Nowadays, Apek is focused on developing turn-key solutions (hardware, software & services) for Interactive Systems with Multi-touch technologies and exclusive designs. Holding a 65% Market Share for large touchscreen displays in Brazil, Apek is currently experiencing a fast growth phase while improving its annual revenue by about 25%.

 

Apek’s customer portfolio includes a large number of companies, including Bosch, Solvay Group, Embraer, Petrobrás, Globo Broadcast, Samsung, Microsoft, Bradesco Bank, Odebrecht, Unilever, Natura, Mitsubishi, ESPN Brazil, Fox Channels, Siemens, Iguatemi, JCPM, The Sonae Group and many more.

 

In 2015, Apek moved to its new Headquarters in Campinas, São Paulo; a minimalist high-tech building with four floors and 16,404 square feet, while expanding its production capacity to 50,000 units annually. Projected Milestones for North America Headquartered in Santa Monica, California, Apek LLC is currently in the midst of planning it’s debut. At first, the company will import & resell its Brazil-manufactured products in the U.S. Beginning Q1 2017, Apek USA plans to locally assemble a 2nd Generation Maxpad in the U.S. to streamline costs, operations & logistics.
